What is included in my conference registration fee?

Full registration types gives you access to all conference sessions and breakfast sessions.

Morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas (as per the program) are included in the full registration fee. The Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner is included with the full registration type.

Additional tickets to the Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner are available for purchase.

You will also receive a name badge and a delegate listing.

What is the dress code for the conference?

During the conference days, smart casual attire is preferred.

For the social program, smart casual attire is recommended for the welcome party and for the Conference Dinner lounge suit/evening wear is recommended.

What is the climate for April in Queenstown

The average daytime temperature ranges from 12°C – 20°C in April.

When does Early Bird registration end?

Early Bird Registration fees are available up to Tuesday 24 February 2015 inclusive

What is the cut-off date to register online?

For online registrations:
12pm, Tuesday 7 April 2015.
Registrations will be available onsite at the conference after this time.

I need to cancel, Is there a cancellation policy?

Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the conference after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute.

In the case of a cancellation, delegates must inform Consec - Conference & Event Management in writing of their inability to attend. A refund of the registration fee, less a cancellation fee of $110.00 including GST will be made on or before Monday 9 March 2015. No refunds will be made to anything after the Monday 9 March 2015.

Any changes made to a exsisting registration within 7 days of the conference will incur a $40.00 administrative fee.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:
Delegates who cancel their accommodation booking must inform the Consec - Conference & Event Management in writing of their cancellation before Monday 9 March 2015. Bookings made after that date cannot be guaranteed.

Will my details be published in the delegate list?

In registering for this conference, relevant details will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (name and organisation only - in accordance with the Australian National Privacy Act), and may be made available to parties directly related to the conference including Consec - Conference & Event Management, the conference organising committee, venues and accommodation providers (for the purposes of room bookings and conference options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and parties associated with related conferences.

If you do not wish for your details to be published in the delegate list please tick the "privacy required" box on the first page of the registration form.

Do I need to wear a name badge?

Your name badge is your entry to the ANZRS Conference 2015 sessions and trade exhibition. If you misplace your name badge, please see the Consec - Conference & Event Management staff at the registration desk for a replacement

No smoking policy?

All internal areas of Hilton Queenstown Hotel are non-smoking areas and the ANZRS Conference 2015 supports a non-smoking policy.

Do I need personal insurance?

Delegates shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for loss or injury to persons or property, including baggage during the ANZRS Conference 2015. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel and tours you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include the loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, financial loss incurred through disruptions to accommodation or travel arrangements due to strikes or other industrial action. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.

What does the goods and services tax (GST) mean?

A goods and services tax of 15% is levied on most purchases in New Zealand and is included in the purchase price of the goods or services.
